Spring is here and it’s time to get out to enjoy the warm sun and take in all the activities the greater Philadelphia area has to offer. From attending a sporting event to cultural demonstrations, there’s something for everyone and their families!

 

Attend a Phillies Game

Tuesday, April 25th at 6:40PM vs. Seattle Mariners (Dollar Dog Night)

Celebrate the annual spring tradition of Japanese arts and culture hosted by the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia. The blossoming cherry trees welcome a taste of Japan throughout the city with food, live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and other activities to take part in held at West Fairmount Park’s Horticulture Center and Centennial Arboretum. Programs will vary each day so you will be guaranteed get a truly unique Japanese experience right out your back door!

 

 

 

4th Annual PEEPS® in the Village

March 13 through April 23 (except on Easter Sunday)

Location: Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, PA

Price: FREE

Stop by Peddlers Village for the 4th Annual PEEPS® in the Village Festival from March 13th through April 12th to view more than 130 marshmallow peeps and candy displays that depict a variety of sceneries, TV shows, and pop culture inspired exhibits. Take a walk around the property with over 60 stores and restaurants covering 40 acres of land. You’ll be sure to find something you’ll enjoy whether you’re looking to takeout or a sit-down three-course meal. Looking for plans for Easter weekend? Bring the kids to attend an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th or make reservations for an Easter Buffet at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant here.

 

 

Manayunk StrEAT Food Festival

Sunday, April 23 | 11AM – 5PM

Location: Manayunk, PA

Price: FREE

Take a walk down Main Street in Manayunk with your friends and enjoy some of the best food that the greater Philadelphia area has to offer. Over 50 food trucks, gourmet vendors, and restaurants will be in attendance with flavors ranging from savory BBQ to mini donuts and everything in between! Need a break from eating? Take a stroll through boutique shoppes surrounding Main St., or listen to one of the six bands performing throughout the day.

Haze Fest at Warwick Farm

Craft beer lovers rejoice! Warwick Farm Brewing is having their second annual “Haze Fest” which will debut a special collaboration with Ever Grain Brewing Company, exclusively for this event. New Trail Brewing will be making an appearance, bringing along a few delicious hazy IPAs for this exciting event capped off with music from Matt Freedman & The Herd and other musical guests throughout the day. Food trucks like Rooster & the Chick, Humpty Dumplings, Kono Pizza, Mr. Big Stuff, Slurp, and Smokin’ Rev will be available for those looking to fight off their hunger during the festival.
