American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) has been named one of America’s Best-in-State Credit Unions by Forbes for 2025. This is the third year in a row that American Heritage has been named to Forbes’ America’s Best-in-State Credit Unions list. Forbes’ list recognizes credit unions that “excelled in meeting the unique needs and expectations of their local communities.” American Heritage is one of 222 credit unions nationwide to be recognized.

Forbes created this list through a partnership with Statista. To complete the study, Statista conducted an independent survey, assessing 26,000 U.S. residents about their experiences and overall sentiments with their financial institution(s). Factors that carry weight in the survey include trustworthiness, customer service, and use of digital tools. Statista also compiled more than 500,000 public reviews and ratings from February 2022 through March 2025 when creating their rankings. The surveys carry 80% of the weight in the rankings, while the reviews and ratings account for the remaining 20%. This is the eighth year that Forbes has released this list.

Recognition on Forbes’ America’s Best-in-State Credit Unions list symbolizes a credit union’s commitment to excellence and service to membership through innovative technologies and a personalized approach.
