The Kids-N-Hope Foundation presented Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a brand-new piano keyboard and accessories for the Music Therapy Program and its patients.

The Kids-N-Hope Foundation raised a record $155,000 during its 27th Annual Golf Classic event at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club on Thursday, October 6.

In the fall of 1777, Philadelphia was seized by the British and occupied for nine long months. The Museum of the American Revolution will recreate this little-known time in our city’s history as part of its annual living history event, Occupied Philadelphia, from November 5 through November 6. The Museum will offer guided neighborhood walking tours and family-friendly activities exploring what life was like while British forces controlled – or, for some people, attempted to liberate – Philadelphia.

American Heritage Credit Union associates volunteered their time yesterday to make over 400 meals through Caring for Friends’ meal packing program to help feed community members throughout the region.

American Heritage Credit Union invites its credit union members and the community to help reach collect 20,000 pounds of food in this year’s Spirit of Giving Food Drive. All nonperishable food donations will be distributed to various food pantries and food banks throughout the community this holiday season.
