American Heritage Credit Union ("American Heritage") has again been named a Best Credit Union to Work For by American Banker in 2026. American Heritage was one of 70 credit unions throughout the country to be named to this prestigious list, placing within the top 50. This is the eighth year in a row that American Heritage has been recognized on this list.

American Banker created this list with the consulting group Best Companies Group. Two surveys were conducted to assess credit unions. The first was given to the credit unions themselves, asking questions about their workplace policies, demographics, and systems. The second survey was given to credit union associates, asking for their satisfaction with their employer and elements such as pay, benefits, and leadership.
