CUNA 2022 Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Service Award

The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Recognition Award honors credit unions for their charitable contributions in their communities since 1987. The award is named after early credit union pioneer Dora Maxwell, a community activist who committed her life to credit union development, to her community and to serving the underserved. American Heritage was the recipient of 2022 Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Service Award.

“As a member-owned credit union, we are always striving for best-in-class, cutting edge methods to provide personalized communications to our membership, develop partnerships with local businesses, as well as share the importance of the credit union movement with the greater community,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage.  “Credit Unions are built on the philosophy of people helping people, and it is an honor to be recognized for our efforts in furthering this philosophy.”

"We are proud to be recognized by our peers in the Credit Union Movement as well as among so many regional organizations for communications excellence and outstanding business development initiatives,” stated Mike Dinneen, Senior Vice President of Marketing for American Heritage. “Credit unions play such an important and evolving role in our society, and we are honored to be recognized in our efforts to communicate that to the members, businesses, and communities we serve.”
