American Heritage Credit Union Donates Over 100 Coats to the Delaware Valley Veterans Home & Veterans Multi-Service Center

By: American Heritage10.03.19

American Heritage held its second Annual Coat Drive to support the Delaware Valley Veterans Home & Veterans Multi-Service Center. From July through September, American Heritage employees were encouraged to donate new or gently-used coats to donate to our veterans and their families.

With tremendous support from the American Heritage employees, over 120 coats were collected and donated to the organization. The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) is a Veterans Administration program which aids low-income Veterans and their families residing in or transitioning to permanent housing. SSVF affiliates provide a range of financial assistance and supportive services designed to promote housing stability. Financial assistance can include help with back rent, mortgage or utility payments for families struggling to remain in their homes.

“American Heritage is proud to support local Veterans and their families living in our communities,” stated American Heritage Credit Union’s CEO & President Bruce Foulke. “Providing much-needed resources like these coats will help Veterans and their families stay safe during the upcoming winter. It is just a small way we can say ‘Thank you for serving our country.’”
