American Heritage Credit Union and BIG 98.1's Annual Car Show & Member Appreciation Day Raises Over $29,500
American Heritage Credit Union ("American Heritage") and BIG 98.1 recently hosted their 22nd Annual Car Show and Member Appreciation Day. More than 340 cars and over 8,000 attendees came out to support the event, which raised more than $29,500 for the Kids-N-Hope Foundation ("The Foundation").
The 22nd Annual Car Show and Member Appreciation Day featured hundreds of classic, muscle, and modern show cars. Trophies were awarded to the top cars in the following categories: Antique, Modern, Muscle, Street, Stock, Modified, Imports, and Exotics. Attendees shopped at the 40-vendor craft show, played games in the Family Fun Zone, visited the petting zoo, and enjoyed BIG 98.1's live broadcast.
All proceeds from the event support The Foundation and its mission of enhancing the lives of pediatric patients through health and life services, specifically music therapy. Since its inception, The Foundation has donated over $5.1 million to these programs through local-area hospitals, including CHOP and other not-for-profit organizations. This year's event was particularly meaningful, as it comes as The Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary.
"We love hosting our members and the greater community each year during our annual Member Appreciation Day & Car Show," said Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage Credit Union and Founder of the Kids-N-Hope Foundation. "This event is a tangible way for us to thank our members and show how we appreciate their continued loyalty and dedication. Through this event, we're also able to bring more awareness to the Kids-N-Hope Foundation, which supports pediatric health and life services, such as music therapy, for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and other local hospitals and nonprofit organizations. I extend my sincere thanks to all our credit union members and community members who stopped by, as well as our staff for dedicating their time to help us put forth such an amazing event."
