American Heritage’s Scholarship Committee will select the 2024 recipients based on their scholarly merits, community and school involvement, a letter of recommendation, credit union eligibility, and a submitted essay describing an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of oneself or others.

“With each new year, we continue to see the cost of a higher education increase and in most circumstances, additional aid or scholarships are necessities to assist with the cost,” states Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage’s President & CEO. “These students and future community leaders are graduating with more debt and financial burdens than any generation before them. This is one of the reasons we offer our Scholarship Program, to help ease higher education costs and expenses however they see fit to better themselves and their education. I encourage all qualified student members to apply!”

The application period begins February 1, 2024, and ends on March 31, 2024. Students interested in applying can visit AmericanHeritageCU.org/Scholarships to begin the application process or to read the full list of submission materials or eligibility requirements.
