President's Message, January 2024
Dear Fellow Members,
It’s hard to believe 2023 has come and gone, but we celebrated great milestones and achievements as a credit union during our 75th Anniversary including our 300,000th member milestone.
As we kick off 2024, I’d like to thank our members, associates, and Board of Directors for trusting and supporting American Heritage since our inception as The Budd Workers Federal Credit Union in January 1948. We’ve come a long way since then, but our commitment to our members and the communities has been unwavering. We capped off our 2023 holiday giving season by giving more than $75,000 in member givebacks, including a brand-new car at our Grand Illumination event.
We also welcomed our newest members from Trouvaille Credit Union. Our ever-growing membership and credit union family is a testament to why we were chosen as Pennsylvania’s #1 Best-in-State Credit Union by Forbes and are one of the top 75 largest credit unions in the country.
As we look ahead, we are constantly seeking ways to offer our members best-in-class service and product offerings as well as convenient financial education for all ages. This year, we plan to roll out additional resources for our youngest members to start their financial journeys off right. These new resources will align with our newest campaign theme, “We’re Here for Your Journey,” because American Heritage is here for you every step of the way.
As an additional thank you to our members for trusting us for over 75 years, we will carry out our annual sweepstakes once again. Over $75,000 worth of giveaways will be awarded throughout the year. And to ensure our members are informed on the latest financials and credit union news, our Annual Meeting will take place on April 16, 2024.
I’d like to thank you all again for placing your trust in American Heritage. As we continue to grow and expand as a financial institution, we have not lost sight of what is important: the people we serve. We would not be where we are without you.
Thank you, stay safe and healthy, and God bless America.
Bruce K. Foulke, President/CEO
