American Heritage Invites Members and the Community to Take Part in the 8th Annual Spirit of Giving Food Drive

By: American Heritage10.04.21
American Heritage Credit Union invites its credit union members and the community to help reach their goal of collecting 20,000 pounds of food in this year’s Spirit of Giving Food Drive. All nonperishable food donations will be given out to various food pantries and food banks throughout the community to help families in need this holiday season.

The donations will be collected from October 4th to November 27th at all 35+ American Heritage branch locations. Nonperishable goods such as soups, canned meat and vegetables, rice and pasta are at a higher demand this time of year, primarily due to Thanksgiving as well as December holidays.

“American Heritage Credit Union, our Board of Directors, and our entire credit union family have recognized the drastic needs for food this season and have stepped up to help our community throughout this past year,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage.  “I know we can count on our associates, business partners and members to continue that support for our community food banks and organizations throughout this holiday season and help us reach our goal of 20,000 pounds.”

Each American Heritage branch will collect goods for a food bank or organization that directly supports families in the area the branch is located. Some food banks and organizations that will receive food donations are Philabundance, Manna on Main, Quakertown Food Pantry, Food Bank of South Jersey, and many more.
