American Heritage Credit Union Recognized by Forbes and Philadelphia Business Journal for Member and Associate Experience
American Heritage Credit Union has recently been named to the 2021 Best-in-State Credit Unions list by Forbes. In addition, The Philadelphia Business Journal named American Heritage as a finalist for the 2021 Best Places to Work Extra Large category and was named as a top three finalist in the 2021 Healthiest Employers Program in the Medium category.
Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research firm, to create its fourth annual list of Best Credit Union in each state. Financial institutions were scored based on overall recommendations and satisfaction as well as five subdimensions. Roughly 25,000 U.S. customers were surveyed regarding their current and former experiences with financial institutions. Of the 5,068 credit unions nationwide, just 3.6% made Forbes’ list, with American Heritage chosen as one of Pennsylvania’s Best-in-State Credit Unions.
The Philadelphia Business Journal partnered with Quantum Workplace to find the 66 companies from around the region who make up the Greater Philadelphia’s Best Places to Work list for 2021. Employee feedback surveys ranked the companies by their composite score that evaluates the company’s culture, compensation, benefits, and trust in senior leadership to decide the winners of each category size.
The Philadelphia Business Journal also partnered with the Healthiest Employers program to create the 2021 Healthiest Employers list. The program measures a company’s wellness programming by having companies fill out a wellness survey. This survey scores the organizations on their wellness program’s culture and leadership commitment, foundation components, strategic planning, communication, programs and interventions, and reporting and analysis. The companies are then divided into size categories and winners are chosen. American Heritage was ranked third in the medium category for their commitment to mental health, physical wellbeing, better benefits package, and more.
“We continually strive to ensure that American Heritage is a premiere credit union for members, and a premiere workplace for our associates,” stated Bruce Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage Credit Union. “Our Board of Directors and Management team continually work to provide our associates with best-in-class training, resources, and benefits in an inclusive work environment, and in turn, this has a direct impact on our outstanding member service. We are honored that independent and well-respected firms such as Forbes and the Philadelphia Business Journal have recognized us for our efforts to improve the lives of our members and associates.”
