American Heritage Credit Union has teamed up with the Greater Bustleton Civic League to host two free COVID-19 testing events at American Heritage’s Main Campus. The testing days will take place at 2060 Red Lion Road, Philadelphia PA on Saturday, February 20th and Saturday, February 27th from 10AM to 4PM.

These free testing events are being administered by the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Public Health and do not require insurance or ID. Individuals will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and are required to collect their own nasal swab or bring someone else to collect the swab for them. All attendees must remain in their vehicles to comply with all safety guidelines regarding this event.

“We teamed up with the Greater Bustleton Civic League to become one of the first testing sites available in the Northeast Philadelphia area,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage’s President & CEO. “As leader in our local community, we have always strived to lead by example, and we are pleased to offer the usage of our centralized campus and resources to the Greater Bustleton Civic League and the City of Philadelphia to improve the wellness of our neighbors, and we hope that these events will encourage others to get involved as well.”

“Philadelphia, and Northeast Philadelphia in particular, is at high risk for community transmission for COVID-19, and we wanted find a way to help lower the spread in our community,” stated Jack O’Hara, President of the Greater Bustleton Civic League. “Our group’s mission is to improve our community and to vocalize concerns they may have, which is why we reached out to American Heritage to host these free testing events.”

The City of Philadelphia encourages individuals to get tested if they are symptomatic or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. For more information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, visit Philadelphia’s Department of Health’s website at www.phila.gov/covid-19.
