The Kids-N-Hope Foundation’s 25th Annual Golf Classic Raises Over $120,000
The Kids-N-Hope Foundation (“The Foundation”) raised over $120,000 during its 25th annual Golf Classic event at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club on Wednesday, October 14. The event staff and golfers followed social distancing practices during the Golf classic, while the Foundation’s Silent Auction and Awards Dinner were held virtually this year.
Approximately 150 golfers came out for the day and tested their abilities in skills contests, which awarded winners in the Longest Drive, Putting Contest and the Closest to the Pin.
The Silent Auction was held online and was open to American Heritage Credit Union members and the general community prior to the event. The Drone Drop, which awarded the winner whose golf ball was closest to the hole after being dropped from a drone, was also open to members and the community to raise awareness and support for event and The Foundation.
“We cannot thank all of our sponsors, business partners, and participants enough for their support of our Golf Outing and Kids-N-Hope Foundation, especially during these challenging times,” stated Dorian Smith, Executive Director of the Kids-N-Hope Foundation. “The funds raised will greatly impact the children who benefit from The Foundation and the programs it supports.”
