American Heritage Credit Union Reaches $3 Billion in Assets and Welcomes 200,000th Member
American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) recently achieved two major achievements in its history, specifically for membership and asset growth milestones.
At the end of May, American Heritage achieved $3 billion in assets, and reached the 200,000-member mark. Formed in 1948 as the Budd Workers Federal Credit Union, the original American Heritage branch was on Hunting Park Avenue in North Philadelphia. Today, American Heritage has more than 35 locations across Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery and Camden Counties and serves more than 800 Workplace Partners throughout the region.
“When we were founded, our goal then was to serve all our members in the Philadelphia area no matter who they are or where they live,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, President & CEO of American Heritage. “Today, that commitment is stronger than ever. In our journey to $3 billion in assets and 200,000 members, we have been blessed to serve a membership that truly represents the wonderful diversity of our community.”
“Our mission is to provide the right financial solutions to our members because they are family,” continued Foulke. “Our very first members at the Budd Manufacturing Company plant pooled their money together to help one another achieve better lives. To this day, our 200,000 members, our Workplace Partners, and our community partners all share that same spirit of family and people helping people.”
