American Heritage Credit Union Cleans Up the Local Community During Its Adopt-A-Highway Event
American Heritage Credit Union’s Green Team hosted its Tenth Annual Fall Adopt-A-Highway event. This month, nearly one hundred American Heritage employees went to work to clean two miles of PA Route 13 (Frankford Avenue) between Academy and Knights Roads in Philadelphia as well as a two-mile road in Lansdale, PA. Local pedestrians, small business owners and drivers passing by continuously acknowledged American Heritage’s volunteers for their hard work and efforts in cleaning up the community.
“The environment is everyone’s responsibility and the Adopt-A-Highway program provides the opportunity for American Heritage employees to be a part of the solution,” stated American Heritage President & CEO Bruce K. Foulke. "The Adopt-A-Highway initiative is part of the Credit Union's strategic goal to go green, and are excited for our team to perform to additional clean-ups throughout the year.”
