American Heritage Credit Union donates $20,000 to the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation
American Heritage Credit Union (American Heritage) donated $20,000 to the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
The donation will be used to purchase a Giraffe OmniBed Carestation. Already equipped with one Carestation, the St. Mary Medical Center NeoNatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) was in need of second to support the number of births at the hospital based in Langhorne, PA. From delivery to discharge, the Giraffe OmniBed Carestation is designed to address the changing and complex demands of the NICU by utilizing advanced technology to provide supportive, family-centered care solutions, consistently-controlled thermal environments, warmth during transport, improved patient access and visibility, and reliable clinical performance.
American Heritage President & CEO, Bruce K. Foulke, and Vice President of Business Development, Dorian Smith, presented the donation to Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic’s Jim Woodward, President and CEO.
“We jumped at the opportunity to help when we found out that St. Mary Medical Center’s NICU was in need of a new Giraffe OmniBed Carestation,” states Bruce K. Foulke. “Their NICU is incredibly important to the families in our communities, and it was our honor to help provide resources, so the staff could be equipped with the latest technology to help these parents. We are excited to partner with the St. Mary Medical Center Foundation.”
