We have been continuously monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our membership and our community.  Last week, we established a portal where our members can learn more about how to virtually access their funds and perform transactions, as well as how to protect your finances and safely handle money.

  • Eligible Credit Card, Home Equity Line of Credit & Loan, Personal Line of Credit & Installment Loan, and Auto Loan account holders are eligible to skip their April and May monthly loan payment.*

Waiving Late Fees

We are waiving late payment fees on all American Heritage credit cards, consumer loan, mortgage and commercial loan payments due in May 2020.

For first mortgage borrowers, a range of hardship programs are available from our servicing partner, Midwest Loan Services.  You can contact them directly at 800.262.6574 to discuss your situation

Member Relief Loan Program

Instead of our usual spring vacation loan, we’re offering our members a personal loan with deferred payment options to offer relief during the crisis. Our Member Relief Loan can be used to help you cover rent, utilities, child coverage, and other important needs. 

Our team understands that everyone’s situation is unique and is ready to discuss your options to help find the best solution possible during this time.

Online and Mobile Services

Take advantage of our Online Teller and Mobile Teller app — you can easily check balances, make transfers and pay bills through these free tools, without having to leave your home or come to a branch. For a limited time, we will provide a $5** bonus to any member who activates eStatement between now and May 31, 2020.

*Not all loans may qualify. Offer good only for existing American Heritage accounts and loans in good standing. You may request a deferred payment for June loan payments by May 31, 2020 on Credit Cards, Home Equity Term Loans, Home Equity Lines of Credit, Personal Installment Loans, Personal Lines of Credit, and Vehicle Loans. If your American Heritage primary share or checking account does not have a positive balance, your Skip-A-Pay request on any loan will not be processed. If any of your American Heritage loans are 16 days or more past due, your current Skip-A-Pay request on any loan may not be able to be made automatically via Online Teller. Acceptance of this offer may extend the term of your loan or maturity date, and may increase your future interest payments. Your loan payment due date will be advanced 30 days for each skipped payment. Bi-weekly payments constitute one monthly payment. For Mastercard, your interest owed may be added to the regular minimum payment due the following month. Interest continues to accrue on your unpaid balance during the payment period skipped. Skip-A-Pay offer is made under the terms of disclosure given at time of loan disbursal. Non-Qualifying Loans: First Mortgage, Business Loans, Student Loans and Business Credit Cards.
